Many have taken advantage of the integrated messenger within TABS.
...but for those who haven’t we are here to tell you that you are missing out.
TABS messenger is just as reliable as the older ways of radio communications. Unlike radio communications TABS messenger can benefit your workforce by storing previous messages which can be helpful as reminders.
Additionally communications can be relayed to groups or individuals allowing for more control over who receives the message, keeping unwanted individuals from receiving a message that was not intended for them.
Radios have always allowed communications between separate companies to work together when working on joint projects (such as construction companies and surveying contractors). TABS messenger has this capability to link the two entities allowing for secure and accurate correspondence.
Accessing TABS messenger on a desktop.
When logged into TABS from a web browser select the message bubble icon in the upper right hand corner. This will expand the messenger from the right side of the display. You can filter contacts from, Recent, All, and Groups. There is also a search bar to search for a specific contact.
A green dot next to the users name shows that they are online, additionally the messenger can also show you that users current task.
Accessing TABS messenger on a Mobile Device.
Our mobile TABS application is available on both Android and iOS, and works on tablets and smartphones.
From within the TABS app you can swipe select the messenger icon in the lower right hand corner of the display or alternatively you can left starting from the right edge of your screen.
