Disable Doze Feature within Android

The newest update to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) has an exciting new feature called "Doze". The new feature is enabled by default and can save battery life by cutting down the amount of background processes while sleeping in order to save power. Doze has had a negative impact on TABS users. To remove TABS from doze simply follow the steps below.

 

Open the settings app on your phone.

...tap Battery.

Next, select the options icon (three dots in upper right-hand corner).

...choose Battery Optimization.

...choose Battery Optimization.

 

Now, select the downward-pointing arrow.

...then select all apps.

Select TABS in the list of applications, you will then be presented with a dialog box. Choose don't optimize and tap done.
